A whir of commotion in the private hospital room rises up with sound and bodies as several nurses, two or three doctors and some general medical aides fill the fairly small room. A portable medic team stand just outside of the room beside the coffee machine, both have blood on their uniforms as they share a well earned cup of coffee and a break. Inside the room some yelling can be heard as Ally Morrow, still dressed in her ring gear: her long blonde hair matted with blood that has since dried there, as well as her face and other spots on her body, physically shoves a nurse away from her, as two medical aides gently try and push her back against the examination bed. She struggles for a moment before catching the eye of a doctor.
“What fucking part of NO DRUGS do you people not understand?” Her voice comes out in a hoarse yell and she physically flinches at the effort, which sets off a reaction of her pain through her body, it pulls at her shoulder and hits her bruised ribs hard. She rests back against the bed with a gasp, unable to keep fighting against the medical staff as the pain takes over. She shakes her head slowly, “I don't want any pain killers…” the lead doctor frowns slightly and waves the aides away, he leans down over her and shakes his head “We can't run the checks we need to if you can't bear being touched…” she grits her teeth slightly and ignores the pain in her face the action causes “Where’s Ty?” The Doctor looks confused for a moment before realization crosses his face “Your boyfriend is out in the waiting area, we can't allow anyone but family back here…”
She reaches up and grabs him by his shirt “He is my fucking family. Get him, NOW.” She releases with a soft pant and lies back again “He's also as close to a pain killer as I can get, so go and bring him back and then run whatever tests you need to run… No drugs…” she meets his eyes again “I mean it.” With a nod the doctor sends one of the nurses out to the waiting room, as she opens the door, Tyson’s elevated voice can be heard, as he's exchanging words with a Doctor out there, in regards to not being let back. He then enters the room and comes up to Ally. “Hey, why the tough act huh?”
He comes close to her and lightly rests his hand on her cheek as the medical staff gives him some room. “You need to let them give you something… Something very small or you're not going to be able to get fixed here babe.” He kisses her forehead. She grabs his hand with hers and shakes her head slightly with a frown “I can't, you know I can't…” she draws in a deep breath and looks down and then back up into his eyes, “I'll be fine, they can do what they need to, I'm fine now you're here.” She grips his hand a little tighter than she means to thanks to the pain in her throat. “Did you win?” She half arches her brow at him a small smile forming on her lips as she plays off the attention to him now. He lets out a stifled laugh. “You're lying in a hospital bed… Refusing pain meds and you want to know about my match?”
He kisses her forehead and smiles. “Oh you are too much sometimes babe.” He chuckles again before turning to the medical staff. “Do what you can without any pain medication… Please.” The doctor looks at him then to Ally. “We can't do what is needed if she's…” Tyson interjects quickly. “Well she’s not going to let you stick her with anything and that's more for your safety.” Ally looks up at Tyson, then down at her ankle, her eyes scan the damage quickly before looking back at the doctor. “Okay look, if that's broken, you can give me something to set and cast it… But all of this…” she waves a hand over herself “I can cope without pain medication for.” As she waves the hand she gasps slightly as pain shoots through her hand. The Doctor nods and turns away to walk over to the medical team, she looks back to Tyson.
“You didn't answer my question you know…” her voice cuts out to a rasp and she takes a breath, shaking her head clearly frustrated. “And save any smart ass jokes about enjoying the peace and quiet…” she points to her throats where a purple and blue bruise has already started to form “Cause my voice isn't the only thing you'll be missing for a while.” She whispers those words and laughs slightly, her laugh turning to a soft whimper in pain before she grabs his hand again with her good hand and squeezes it to ride out the pain. He laughs a bit and shakes his head. “But you can make all the jokes you want huh?”
He rubs at her blood matted hair. “Yeah I won. Aurora gave me a hell of a match and almost had me a few times but I can't let you be the only champion in this relationship, now can I?” He smiles at her again. She laughs a little and takes a sharp breath as she feels some pressure on her ribs, flicking her eyes up to his face she tries to focus on his eyes, frowning a little she lets out a light, almost cry in pain but mostly silences it before taking another breath “That would be…” she inhales sharply as they check her ribs but doesn't take her eyes off his face “Totes lame.” She half laughs. Her hand squeezes tighter around his and she grits her teeth slightly for a moment before trying to continue the conversation as a distraction “So, how much,” she pauses again for another sharp inhale.
“Did you watch… even though I told you… not to?” Her words are punctuated with small pained noises as they apply pressure to the bruised and swollen areas on her ribs, her eyes prick with tears at the side but she keeps her gaze set steady on his, doing her best to breathe through it. He rolls his eyes. “Would you have not watched?” He warmly smiled. “I didn't watch it all but I saw… Enough.” He sighed. “I hope this helped get out what you needed to get out?” She nods slightly, as she opens her mouth to answer him someone touches her ankle “MOTHER FUCKER!” She barely manages a yell before closing her mouth again and blushing a little pink under the bloody red streaks on her cheeks “Uhh, sorry…” she looks away for a moment before looking back at him with a quick nod.
“I guess it did…” she lets out a slow breath and squeezes his hand tighter still, her body tensing slightly as a reaction to the pain shocks coming up her leg “Fuck.. Uh… it um, it helped me realize, what uh, what's important…” she gasps and her mouth closes and she holds her breath for a moment, severe pain crossing her eyes before she exhales again. “Come on breathe… Keep breathing or you're going to pass out.” He holds onto her hand. “Squeeze my hand to release what pain you can… Come on Ally…” He braces for her squeeze.
She leans her head back against the table and squeezes his hand hard, gritting her teeth for a moment before the pain in her throat becomes too much for the tension, she gasps a breath before shaking her head, as she does so, one of the medical aides turns her ankle to place it to be splinted before the X-ray, instinctively she kicks out with her injured leg which causes her to scream in pain, as all the adrenaline has left her system now. “Look at me Ally… Come on.” He locks his eyes on hers. “Focus on me okay?” He kisses her blood matted forehead again. “What did you find out that was most important?” She looks back up at him and bites down on her bottom lip for a moment, making a face when she tastes her own dried blood in her mouth.
“I uh, shit…” she gasps again and tries to steady her breathing, turning all of her focus to Tyson now as her eyes scan his face and she smiles slightly “You.” She half closes her eyes for a moment with a deep breath before opening them again and looking back into his “Us. This… It's what's most important… More than the uh, the titles… More than the accolades… Just you…” she keeps her mediated breathing going but can't help to let out a couple of small pained whimpers as they secure the splint. “Look at you being all thoughtful and sweet… And all it took was a giant death match.” He laughs a bit as he rubs his other hand over hers.
“I love you, Ally…” He keeps rubbing her hand. “This is where you save your voice and rest, okay?” He smiles at her. She frowns slightly but doesn't argue, jutting out her lip slightly to pout at him. “I love you too…” she pauses and looks around slightly, realizing that she's about ready to go for some tests she looks back at him with a small, panicked look “Don't leave me okay?” He smiles warmly at her. “I would never dream of leaving you…”

{The scene opens to the FSociety Champion, Tyson Gregory, in a baggy shirt and pajama bottoms, walking up and sitting at a dark wooden desk in his Las Vegas home. He opens the laptop that sits on the desk and cracks his knuckles. He then starts to type as the Doogie Howser theme music plays. Tyson suddenly voice overs his own typing.}
Tyson Gregory:
“So here we have it back to the action after what was a stupid break. I mean, I can't be too mad about it… Ally got the much needed time to heal and I got to do nothing. There's something about that, going from the constant grind and repetition of the show weeks that gives you focus and helps you keep eyes forward. But when that grind is broken and the focus messed with, well that just leaves you with a lot of pent up emotions and aggression that needs to get out.”
“I've been injured, more so to the point that I was forced to sit on the sidelines after shoulder surgery. Main reason was because I chose not to rest when I was hurt and that hurt lead to the injury. But being forced to sit and wait, when there is nothing physical or even mentally wrong with you is a very very taxing thing. It builds up anger, resentment and things you didn't know you had built up in you until it's overwhelmingly present. You can only fuck out so much adrenaline after all.”
“So that's where this leads me against Daisy Locke from the FSociety Tag Team Champions, Locke and Keyes. It's nice that I get the marquee name from the group as my first match back from this seasonal break bullshit. To put it in a way that I would lay it all out there I don't give a shit about Locke and or Keyes. I don't give a shit about the FSociety Tag Team Championships and I don't really give a shit about who is in charge of FSociety.”
“End of the day? It's Ally Morrow, the FSociety Championship and this match that I give a shit about. Pretty much in that order as well. I'm going into this match pissed off and ready to cause damage, don't really care who my opponent is, was or what their hopes and dreams are. I'm going to win, I'm going to raise my arm and my FSociety Championship high above my head in victory and end the first show of season two the exact way we ended the final show of season one… With me standing victoriously in that ring.”
{Tyson closes the laptop on his desk and sighs contently as the scene fades to black.}
